Consultation

An aesthetic consultation is a personalized session designed to understand and address an individual's unique aesthetic concerns, preferences, and goals. It typically involves a meeting between the client and a trained aesthetic professional, such as a dermatologist, or esthetician. During the consultation, we will engage in a comprehensive discussion with the client to gain insight into their desired outcomes. The consultation may include a thorough examination of the client's skin, taking into account factors such as skin type, texture, tone, and specific areas of concern. Based on this assessment, our aesthetic professional will provide personalized recommendations and treatment options tailored to the client's needs and expectations. This consultation process allows the client to have a clear understanding of the available procedures, potential risks and benefits, expected results, and any required pre- or post-treatment care. It serves as an essential first step in establishing a trusting relationship between the client and the aesthetic professional, ensuring that the client's aesthetic journey is guided by expertise, transparency, and shared decision-making.

Professional Facial

FACIAL TREATMENT DEPOSITS/CONSULTATION:

Facial treatments will require a $75 deposit to be paid at the time of scheduling. This deposit secures your appointment. 

We now offer facial consultations for a fee of $25. These consultations are designed to provide personalized recommendations and address your skincare concerns. 

If you schedule a facial treatment within 30 days of the consultation, the $25 consultation fee will be applied towards the cost of the scheduled service in addition to the $75 deposit.

EXILIS DEPOSITS/CONSULTATION

For EXILIS consultations, a $100 fee will be collected at the time of scheduling. This fee covers the comprehensive assessment by our medical providers and esthetician to determine the candidacy for the procedure.

If you decide to purchase an EXILIS treatment package and schedule it within 30 days of your consultation, half of the total cost of the package fee will be collected as a deposit. 

The $100 consultation fee will be applied towards the total cost of the service when a package is purchased and scheduled within 30 days of the consultation.

LATE ARRIVALS
It is best to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled start time. If you arrive later than the scheduled start time we still have to end your treatment on the initial scheduled end time. Please keep in mind that you will be charged for the full cost of the initial scheduled appointment.  In order to get the most of your treatments by us, please be on time!

CANCELLATIONS/RESCHEDULING
We understand sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary. Therefore, we request 48 hours notice prior to your scheduled appointment time for cancellations or rescheduling of appointments; 48 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule. Notifications regarding cancellations or requests to reschedule should be made via phone call during business hours. An option to leave a voice mail during non business hours is available as long as it is 48 hours before your scheduled appointment.

*Deposits serve to secure your appointment slot, and late cancellations or rescheduling requests within 48 hours prevent us from accommodating other patients. Therefore, deposits are forfeited if notice is provided less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment. A new deposit will be required for any rescheduling.*

SICK OR FEELING UNWELL

If you are sick or under the weather, please let us know so we can reschedule your appointment. Getting a facial while sick is not recommended and in some cases can make you feel worse.

Exceptions to the cancellation and refund policy may be considered in the case of emergencies. Please contact us as soon as possible if you encounter unforeseen circumstances preventing your attendance.

ONE-TIME TRANSFER

Each deposit can be transferred once. Subsequent rescheduling requests will require a new deposit.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS


Please advise us at time of booking of any health conditions, allergies, injuries, recent surgeries, pregnancy or special needs which may affect your services.

Some treatments may not be recommended for guests who have certain conditions. For your safety please inform us at the time of booking if you have or are experiencing any of the following conditions to determine if the service can be rendered:


• Cancer
• Cardiovascular conditions, including high or low blood pressure
• Swollen or painful lymph nodes
• Undiagnosed skin rash or thrombosis
• New injury of any kind
• Open sores
• Arthritis (osteo- or rheumatoid)
• Diabetes
• Blood Disorder and Disease

Please note that individuals who have received Botox or Dermal fillers (any injectables), chemical peels, micro-needling, micro-blading, permanent makeup/tattoo, cosmetic treatments with laser or ultrasound, Must wait at least 2 weeks before any facial treatment can be performed.

​

Individuals prescribed Accutane ( Isotretinoin Therapy) must wait 6-12 months after completion of the prescription before any facial treatment can be performed.

PAYMENT POLICY
A valid credit card number is required at the time of booking to secure the deposit. Full payment is due at time of service. If you choose to use an alternate form of payment at the time of your appointment, you may do so. We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover cards.

PRICES AND SERVICES
Prices and services are subject to change without notice. We will do our best to keep our clients up to date on any changes that may occur but encourage all clients to inquire about pricing and available services when booking your appointment.

REFUNDS

Payments for rendered facial treatments and cosmetic treatments are non-refundable. Once services are provided, payment for those services is considered final.

We are committed to ensuring your complete satisfaction with our services. If you have any issues or concerns regarding a facial treatment you have received, please notify us within 72 hours of your completed treatment date. Concerns about completed treatments should be communicated via email to info@lumadermatology.com within the 72-hour notification window. We will make every effort to address and resolve any concerns raised within the specified notification window. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we appreciate your open communication.

CHILDREN & VISITORS ACCOMPANYING THE CLIENT
Due to our limited seating, the facilities are reserved for clients only. We are unable to accommodate visitors accompanying clients in the treatment areas including those complying with our age restriction policy. For the safety of your children and the comfort of other guests, this policy is strictly enforced.
 

AGE REQUIREMENTS
All facial guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian unless written consent to treatment without a parent or legal guardian present has been given.  All guests under the age of 18 must have a signed consent form for their initial visit.

REVISION NOTIFICATIONS

These policies are subject to periodic review and may be revised. Any updates will be communicated via our website, and the revised policy will be effective immediately upon publication.
